We welcome you to Paris! Relax and unwind after your journey or join your Travel Leader for a “Neighborhood Orientation” walk. Meet the rest of your group and Travel Leader for a welcome drink before we kick start your vacation with the ‘Tour of Illuminations, where the magnificent French capital transforms into the “City of Lights.” Beautiful bridges and cool little cafés give us a real taste of Paris’ romance. Your Tour Leader will fill you in on some of the world’s most recognized monuments.
Today we will become Parisian Flâneurs as we stroll the the exclusive residential streets of Île St-Louis and extraordinary Île de la Cité, an oasis from the rush of the city that remains romantically frozen in the 17th century. Here we can visit the island’s focal point the Cathedral of Notre Dame, arguably the most stunning gothic cathedral in the world—and undoubtedly the most famous. As we continue, we will admire the beauty of the Seine and the bridges that connect Rive Gauche to Rive Droite. We will stop along the way to admire the Conciergerie, a former prison that housed Marie Antoinette before her execution. It will also be a treat to visit the small, uncrowded residential park known as the Place Dauphine which has managed to avoid being overrun by masses of tourists. We will conclude our day as Parisian Flâneurs exploring from the alley’s of the Latin Quarter to the grand boulevards of of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Odéon.

Lets Go Exploring!!! Today we discover one of Paris’ most beautiful and visited Garden – Jardin des Tuileries. Thanks to it’s central location it will be our jumping point to the left bank via the most elegant bridge in Paris – Pont Alexandre III. Once on the left bank we will explore the Esplanades and Hotel des Invalides, the famous burial site of Napoleon Bonaparte. Followed by a walk down the 7th arrondissements most picturesque streets before we make our way one of our favorite market – Rue Cler. This charming pedestrian street offers plenty of space for tiny stores and their patrons to spill into the street.
Forget the long queues and purchasing tickets beforehand, we will take you behind the scenes of one of the most iconic landmarks in the world – The EIffel Tower. As a VIP, you will enter first into the former bunker hidden under the Champ de Mars. You will then slip backstage to the surprising and impressive engine room which still controls the elevators. Once on the 2nd and top floors you will be greeted by an unprecedented 360° panorama of Paris.
We will indulge in a quintessential Parisian picnic (professionally catered) along the Champs de Mars while taking in the amazing view of the Eiffel Tower and Paris!

Discover the secrets of one of the most typical Parisian markets. This adventure is sure to delight all your senses. Here you will have a chance to sample French delicacies and delicious aromatic cheeses while partaking in the local ritual of shopping in the Parisian Market. We will be selecting the finest produce to cook a truly french lunch with our chef du jour. Then it is back to the kitchen to start the cooking (with wine in hand, of course). We believe food is among the best experiences to immerse yourself into French culture.

On this day we will be taking the train to the flower-filled village of Giverny and the home of its famous resident Claude Monet. You will understand why these places inspired the leader of Impressionism. You will step on the famous Japanese bridge and walk around the water lily pond to observe the ever changing reflections on the water surface. Then you will stroll across the Clos normand, the colorful flower garden blooming from spring to fall. Monet himself landscaped it by applying his sense of composition, perspective and colors to gardening.
The rest of the afternoon is free to explore this quaint village. Not far from Monet’s former residence is the Museum of Impressionisms (Musee des Impessionismes) dedicated to the different forms of impressionist painting. Built into the landscape, the museum mimics the natural beauty of the surrounding area.
Today we will take a walking tour of the art-filled colorful village of Montmartre. Discover Montmartre’s unique character and winding cobblestone paths from artists studios through terraced gardens, from the oldest vineyard in Paris to antique windmills, sharing with you the amazing stories of residents past and present. During this exploration we will learn why famous artists such as Picasso, VanGogh, Renoir, and Toulouse-Lautrec loved and made this area their home. Once at the top of the hill you’ll enjoy the picturesque views of the Basilica of Sacré Coeur and the panoramic view over all of Paris. There’s no better way to explore this village within Paris. After we will make our way the Hôtel de Ville, the hidden village of St. Paul, meander through Le Marais’ dizzying network of hidden courtyards, provocative galleries, and ivy-covered boulangeries before ending our day in what many consider to be the most beautifully built square in Paris, Place des Vosages.
For an off-the-beaten-path treat, take some time to discover the Canal Saint-Martin neighborhood. This hidden gem may not be one of the most recognizable quarters of Paris, but it exudes a sense of elegant leisure that is oh-so French. In addition to the beauty of the canal, this neighborhood is also known for its quirky shops, boutiques and restaurants.
Tonight we will be seeing Paris from the vantage point of the Seine River. This is an experience not to be missed… At tonight’s farewell dinner, you will discover all of the magic of dining along the Seine. At night, Paris monuments are illuminated with millions of lights reflected on the dancing waters of the Seine. Once you see Paris on an evening cruise, you will understand why Paris is known as the “City of Light. ”Our final group outing will be Cabaret… in all of its naughty, risqué fun, is well celebrated in Paris. You will be enticed with this modern, creative and audacious celebration of femininity… all while sipping champagne in the VIP area. This prestigious show has been treating customers and famous celebrities to an avant-garde experience featuring beautiful women tastefully in few items of clothing.
